Behind the Design: Two Rings, One Perfect Pair

Behind the Design: Two Rings, One Perfect Pair

Every month, we usually release one limited-edition piece. But this April, we’re changing things up and releasing two rings at once.

To be completely transparent, we didn’t initially plan to launch two pieces. We actually spent a lot of time debating internally which ring should come first. But someone eventually said, “Why not both?” And the second we saw the rings side by side, we realized they belonged together.

Here’s the thing though: each ring also shines beautifully by itself. But combined They’re even better.

Ring One: The Solitaire Diamond Ring (Brushed White Gold)

The solitaire ring is a fine jewelry classic, but we saw room to tweak it a bit, adding details we personally wished other solitaire rings had.

First, the diamond: we chose a 0.6-carat stone specifically optimized for a precise “hearts and arrows” cut. In everyday language, this means the diamond is cut so perfectly that it reflects the maximum amount of light, meaning more sparkle, more shine. It’s also colorless (D/E color) and virtually flawless (VVS clarity), with a diameter around 5mm, which is a perfect balance between elegance and impact.

Instead of the usual high-polished finish, we opted for brushed finish on the white gold. It’s subtle, matte, and stays looking fresh even with daily wear. The brushed texture is modern and effortlessly hides scratches or marks.

We also intentionally lowered the diamond setting to about half the height of traditional solitaires. Why? Because tall solitaire settings tend to snag clothing or bump into things. With the lower setting, it’s more comfortable for everyday life, and it lets us use slimmer prongs, which show off more diamond surface and sparkle without losing any security. We even included a small, hidden opening under the diamond ("back window") that lets additional light enter from below, further increasing brilliance.

Finally, the band itself is slightly thicker, rounded, and ultra-comfortable. The brushed finish creates a beautiful visual contrast if you stack it with other rings, making sure your solitaire always stands out.

Ring Two: The Full-Eternity Pavé Diamond Ring

The second ring, a full-eternity pavé diamond stacking band, was intentionally designed to complement the solitaire ring. It’s slim, elegant, and loaded with sparkle without overshadowing the minimalist vibe of the solitaire.

This ring features diamonds carefully set around the entire band, creating a continuous circle of sparkle from every angle. We set each diamond closely in a pavé style, giving you maximum brilliance without gaps or interruptions.

At about 2.2mm wide, it’s perfectly sized to stack effortlessly alongside the solitaire ring or any other bands you own. We designed it thoughtfully to feel comfortable, minimizing the friction and snagging that some full-eternity bands cause.

Each diamond is securely placed to ensure durability for everyday wear, while keeping cleaning and maintenance easy, no tricky spaces to trap dirt or grime. It's the ultimate balance between sparkle, elegance, and everyday practicality.

Why Release Two Rings Together?

Each ring has its own personality: the solitaire’s modern matte texture and precision-cut diamond, and the full-eternity’s classic sparkle. Separately, they’re great. Together, they’re even better.

As with our other monthly drops, these rings are limited, only here for this month. We really think this might be our best pairing yet, but we’d love to hear what you think too.

Thanks for following along. Your support means everything.
